FLANNELS launches Christian Louboutin’s new must-have sneaker – the ASTROLOUBI – with an exclusive pop-up at FLANNELS X

Luxury retailer FLANNELS launches Christian Louboutin’s new 90s-inspired sneaker – the ASTROLOUBI – alongside an exclusive in-store concept pop-up; open on the ground floor of FLANNELS X in London from 4th-14th September, before moving to the retailer’s Liverpool and Sheffield flagships.

Mirroring 90s street-style silhouettes and colours, the ASTROLOUBI takes cues from the era’s iconic basketball and skate aesthetic, whilst staying true to Louboutin’s signature features. The four colourways include contrasting brights, cool pastels, and minimalist Louboutin red and white monochrome; each iteration designed to accentuate the brand’s innovative materials and ubiquitous red sole.

To celebrate the global launch of the ASTROLOUBI, FLANNELS X’s ground floor is set to transform into an exclusive immersive concept experience; combining bespoke lighting installations, branded artwork and product displays, all in-keeping with the 90s basketball sneaker aesthetic. The launch of the space is marked with an invitation-only event on Wednesday 6th September; bringing together FLANNELS and Louboutin’s close network of creatives and industry leaders to celebrate the latest must-have sneaker.

The partnership between Louboutin and FLANNELS comes as part of the youth-centric luxury retailers’ ongoing Youth-Phoria programming; the multifaceted project championing next generation excellence and ambition through a series of initiatives and cultural events. The last six months has seen emerging creatives and luxury powerhouses collide on an array of passion projects at FLANNELS X – iterations include The Art Kiosk with artist-of-the-moment

Through these ongoing partnerships, FLANNELS has become a platform for vibrant exchanges of ideas, and a playground for new creative collaboration. ASTROLOUBI is the latest project demonstrating how luxury brands look to FLANNELS to reach a younger, more culturally-engaged consumer.
