What’s your favourite mixtape ever?
I can’t pick between Nines – ‘One Foot In’ and Blade Brown – ‘Bags and Boxes 2’.
Why is it so significant to you?
It was at a time in my life when I started understanding what they were truly talking about.
Were there any artists or producers that you discovered through these tapes?
Yes, I discovered Tiggs Da Author.
Where exactly were you when you heard the mixtapes for the first time?
‘Bags And Boxes 2’, I was in fact in school in a science class. ‘One Foot In’, I’m not actually too sure.
Did it come into your life at a significant time?
I think it did, it helped me get a clear picture of a certain mindset you need to succeed and move smart.
How did the mixtape covers make you feel?
Years later I looked at the ‘Bags And Boxes 2’ cover and felt like I can relate. The ‘One Foot In’ cover looked liked my life in 2015.

Couldn’t put a price on that but if I was a label I would have signed them, whatever money they asked!
Did you have a physical copy?
No I didn’t really experience that CD era but I might go get one.

I had the 50 Cent ‘Get Rich Or Die Trying’ CD, well my mum did!
