[STYLE] PAUL & JOE AW23 COLLECTION

Paul & Joe’s AW23 collection takes inspiration from the brand’s early collections…

This season Paul & Joe is inspired by images of Juliet Elliot shot by Steven Meisel in the late nineties, and Winona Ryder’s laid back style of the same era. The collection recalls the origins of the house, born in 1995. Nightgowns & haute lingerie inspired softness, layered with cashmere and woollen tights work under coats. Satin, and silk mixed with sailor-tailoring.

The marine details that underline the collars are made of Chantilly lace and champagne cold underlay for coats. This season also presents the story of a woman and man wandering through time, poets in uniform, twisted with the dreamlike style of the house. Flowers and vines grow up legs and wrap around arms and waists. The new wool suits are adorned with natural tones, the velvet palates become raspberry and the surreal art deco prints cover the little autumn coats.
