[STYLE] BERGHAUS TAP INTO ITS HERITAGE IN DANCE CULTURE FOR AW22

Paying homage to British dance music past and present, Berghaus presents PRESS FWD to showcase its AW22 Dean St collection.

Shot in the infamous Happy Valley – the Kent location where 1000s of people gave into the strobes and throb of the bassline to participate in the 80s and 90s rave movement – PRESS FWD collides two generations of UK dance music – legendary Radio 1 DJ Fabio and drum & bass producer DJ Rap come together with two next gen producers currently flying the flag, Mixtress and IZCO. The campaign narrative explores the rich history and culture of UK dance music, the community it spawned, the freedom of style and expression present both then and now, with the four artists giving their take on what they think the future of the scene holds.

Shot on a mix of film, digital and polaroid, the featured collection draws on the early cult pieces that cemented Berghaus at the heart of nineties dance culture, refreshed for AW22 with new colour ways, styles, and fabrics to give collection a modern take. In addition to the campaign, Berghaus are continuing their support of new music talent by partnering with the
underground music publisher, Keep Hush, to champion 8 emerging DJs with two live-streamed events across the UK in December.

The PRESS FWD campaign launches 1st December 2022, with the full Dean Street AW22 collection available to buy from 1st December 2022 on Berghaus.com, ASOS and Oi Polloi with prices ranging from £25 – £200.
