Last Saturday saw over 1000’s of Sneaker fans compete in an Easter Egg hunt with the largest prize. Kick Game has dominated the social space in recent times with “Shopping for Sneakers” circulating upwards of millions of views. The vast expanse of artists that have come through the store and filmed with them is a testimony to the brand. With this in mind, Kick Game has generously given the opportunity to one fan to come in and shop with a £5000 budget with Fredo.
The catch? They had to be the lucky winners of the ‘Find Fred’ Easter Egg hunt which saw fans looking for Fredo around central London on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The scavenger hunt got participants looking for clues (Easter Egg QR codes) around prominent locations of London, with each scan leading them to the next clue. The stores and pavements were packed out in and around areas of Burlington Arcade and Covent Garden.
For Kick Game it doesn’t stop there. Their expansion into Europe with the first store being in the heart of Italy, Milan. Sneaker fans won’t have to wait long to go instore to make their purchase or utilise Kick Game’s next day delivery, something their competitors don’t yet have. The sneaker market is just as big in Europe and with Kick Game’s online sneaker shopping platform they will anticipate a great influx of sneakerheads queueing up at their new stores. Fans will be keenly waiting and watching for their favourite celeb or artist to appear on ‘Shopping For Sneakers’. Having more access to stores will allow the production team to film European artists in each city and this will be one to watch out for.
As a result Kick Game has become synonymous with streetwear culture and is renowned for producing leading content across its YouTube and social channels. Recent films featuring leading artists Central Cee, Arrdee, M1st and Fredo have been watched millions of times over. Streetwear is gaining momentum across the globe and Kick Game is eager to increase visibility and accessibility of high-end, rare sneakers on the UK high street and into Europe and further abroad.
