POP SMOKE – SHOOT FOR THE STARS, AIM FOR THE MOON [DELUXE] ALBUM

Today would have been the 21st birthday of Pop Smoke, an artist that made an incredible impact on the world in such a brief time.

In celebration of his life, today the estate of Pop Smoke have released the Deluxe version of his post-humous album, ‘Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon’, with additional appearances from Davido, Jamie Foxx and more. Our personal favourite from the new batch is ‘Paranoia’ with Young Thug and Gunna, but the presence of Pop’s friend and collaborator Fivio Foreign is another highlight.

Dropping two classic mixtapes, ‘Meet The Woo’ and ‘Meet The Woo 2’, the rapper – real name Bashar Jackson – certified himself as the artist to take Brooklyn Drill global. He showed more love to the UK than most artists that came before him, thanks to his relationship with several London producers.

The Brooklyn native rose to prominence in Summer 2019 with his street hit, ‘Welcome to The Party’, which was remixed by Nicki Minaj, Skepta, Dave East and more.
